Single origin, roasted to order

Radically generous coffee.

Zambian and Ugandan micro-lots, roasted after you order rather than pulled off a shelf. The profit goes to The Riverbank Organization, which delivers refrigerators, beds, and household essentials free to families in crisis across Southern California.

The problem Riverbank solves

Homelessness does not end when someone gets a key.

Families leaving shelters and cars are handed keys to apartments with nothing in them. No bed. No table. Often no refrigerator, which in California can mean the unit fails inspection and the family cannot legally move in at all.

Riverbank founder Nadia Caporaso watched exactly that happen: “We had a homeless family of four living in their car for eight extra weeks because the social worker had signed them a lease and gotten the keys, but they couldn’t move in. It didn’t pass the safety inspection because it didn’t have a fridge; that just broke my heart. I decided from that moment on we would always have fridges, and we would deliver them.”

That is the gap this coffee pays for. Not a program in the abstract. A refrigerator, in a truck, on its way to an address.

Two origins

The coffee is the point too.

Both lots are bought directly and roasted to order. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting for you.

These lots are bought straight from the farms that grow them, and the roastery films those farms on the same trips. A bag of Riverbank starts on a smallholding in Africa and ends in a kitchen in Orange County.

01

You buy Riverbank coffee

This is Riverbank's own label, not an outside brand donating a slice of something else. Every order is credited to them automatically.

02

It is roasted to order

Your beans are roasted after the order lands and shipped whole bean. No warehouse stock, no stale bags.

03

The profit goes to Riverbank

Riverbank turns it into the things a home needs: a refrigerator, a mattress, a stroller, a set of towels. Delivered free to the family.

What comes in goes right back out.

Riverbank runs a warehouse on Paseo Adelanto that opened in March 2025. Donated furniture, appliances, and household goods come in from neighbors and companies; caseworkers send requests in through Care Portal; the team loads a truck and drives it out.

The warehouse fills with donations from generous families and companies, and what comes in quickly goes out: delivered directly to families in crisis, every day, for free.

The Coffee Club

A standing order is a standing gift.

One bag a month, same price as a one-time bag, cancel whenever you like. Riverbank calls its monthly givers Loyals, because steady support is what lets them say yes to a request the day it comes in rather than the month after.

Radical generosity, outrageous love

Coffee is one way in. Giving directly is the other.
